Jan De Nul Group is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1995, the Group signed, through its subsidiary Hidrovía, the 22-year concession for the maintenance of the Río Paraná and Río de la Plata. The contract was initially assigned for a period of 10 years, but was extended due to the good results and good cooperation with the local authorities.
Jan De Nul Group has been present in Argentina ever since. From maintenance dredging in the port of Bahía Blanca, over the dredging works in the Río Paraná to trenching works for the Vega Pleyade Project.
