Arenas Argentinas del Paraná was founded in 2016 with the technical support, strong experience and high level of professionalism of mother company Jan De Nul Group. The vision of Arenas Argentinas del Paraná is to become the leading local supplier of natural sand for the exploration and exploitation of oil and gas, in close collaboration with the oil and gas companies themselves, in order to improve the productivity and costs of their wells.

The knowledge of our mother company acquired during decades of extracting and transporting millions of tonnes of sand is our main strength. The nature of our extractive process places us above our competitors in relation to available volume, capacity of delivery and gradation flexibility. Among other advantages, the fact of not needing water for the sand treatment makes our process environmentally friendly.

Also thanks to the vast experience of Jan De Nul Group we are an excellent strategic partner when it comes to comprehensive logistic solutions to dispose the product at the wellhead, at the required moment and at the lowest cost.

Frac sand quality

Our frac sand is almost 100% high purity quartz. All the tests routinely performed at independent laboratories, carried out in accordance with industry standards, certify the high quality of our products.

Mesh sizes available: 30/50, 40/70 and 70/140.

Our semi mobile mineral processing installation

Our semi mobile mineral processing installation can handle up to 180,000 ton ingoing material. We can process and produce minerals in several classifications with an unseen accuracy at cut of points. Due to the in-house design and engineering we succeeded in building a multifunctional and flexible processing plant, that can handle a wide spread of ingoing materials and size it up to the required fractions according to client demand. Our state of the art technology minimizes energy consumption, uses no freshwater and actually produces “zero waste”. All outgoing fractions produced by the installation are used either for the exploration and exploitation of oil and gas, as valuable products or as usable products for construction industry or other industrial activities.
